Each bowl is individually thrown on a wheel using locally made clay, shaped and glazed by hand, and fired in our kilns in Colorado.

This is a fully functional miniature bowl — meaning it is not just for show. It’s made from the same durable stoneware we use in our full-size wares, only scaled down with precision and intention.

We recommend ordering multiple mini bowls if you’re using them for collections or installations — due to the handmade nature, no two are exactly the same, and each holds its own personality.

• Clay: Stoneware, handmade from scratch in our studio
• Glaze: Custom pale pink with a semi-gloss finish
• Fired: Cone 6 ( 2300°F) for durability and vitrification
• Food Safe
• Lead and Cadmium free
• Microwave safe
• Dishwasher safe

Each bowl is food safe, though due to its size it’s more likely to serve as a decorative or symbolic piece. It is also dishwasher safe if used with salts, incense, or spices.

This piece is incredibly versatile. We’ve seen customers use these mini bowls for:

The Story Behind the Piece

We created these miniature bowls as a playful yet precise challenge — how small can one throw a functional piece of pottery without losing its form or integrity? The result is a series of mini bowls that still carry the full identity of our larger pottery, just on a different scale.

These tiny pots are little gems. Each miniature is individually thrown and glazed. People have many different uses for miniature pottery – curio shelf art, tiny flower vase, toothpick holders, spices, scented oils, bud vase, air plants, and much more. These little pots can also be a very nice “small” thank you gift.
