Description of Process

Each hanging air plant pot is crafted through slip casting, a ceramic technique that uses liquid stoneware poured into our custom molds. Once cured, the piece is removed and hand-finished, carved, and bisque fired. The heart cutout is carefully shaped, and our signature bronze glaze is then applied by hand. During glaze firing, this glaze pools and catches in the carved areas, creating brilliant metallic highlights and soft burnished undertones.

Our in-house glazes are formulated for rich, layered effects that respond beautifully to the high-fire environment of our kiln. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, shaped by fire, hand, and intention.
