Our Process: Star-Cut & Hand-Glazed

Each planter is hand cast in our own mold that we design and manufacture with our own clay slip. Before its first firing, the star-shaped cutout is carefully carved by hand into the body of the pot. After bisque firing, the entire piece is coated in our custom white glaze, formulated in-studio for a smooth, matte-satin finish.

Once glaze-fired, each piece is cooled and cleaned, then hand-detailed with real 22K gold luster, applied with a fine brush and fired again at a lower temperature in a third firing. The result is a lustrous, subtle shimmer that reflects light and makes each piece truly one of a kind.
