This is the newest design of our very popular large travel mugs. It is a deep blue or pure white glaze with little gold snowflakes. The blue glaze looks like a night sky and the white is a classic for the season. The gold snowflakes are bright and lovely – made from real 22K gold. It is a wonderful holiday/winter mug that makes a fantastic gift for that holiday time of year!

The gold snowflakes are permanently fused to the surface during a third firing process, creating a delicate metallic sheen without sacrificing durability. Each flake is distinct, spaced thoughtfully around the tumbler’s curves, evoking the glimmer of starlight or snowfall depending on how the light catches it.

Functionality & Features

This mug is handmade from stoneware clay and holds approximately 24 ounces, making it ideal for longer commutes, big tea refills, or anyone who refuses to settle for a standard cup. It comes with a tight-fitting silicone lid in matte black, designed to keep your beverage insulated while you’re on the move.

This isn’t a factory-made mug. Every travel mug is individually cast, fired in our kiln, hand-glazed, fired, decorated, and fired again in our Colorado studio. The slight differences between each piece make your mug truly one-of-a-kind.

Care Instructions

Because of the 22k gold snowflake accents, this mug should not be microwaved, and although you can wash these with a dishwasher, we still recommend handwashing to preserve the luster of the gold. The mug itself is highly durable and made from vitrified stoneware, but the delicate gold can wear down over time with dishwasher use. Treated properly, the design will last for years and continue to shine with every pour.
